I agree with you that Minor Keith was seen as this great businessman that brought all these new things and bananas to the U.S. A lot people do not know or don't talk about the working conditions that came along with it and the lack of decency for the workers. It does appear that he was ruthless in his need for production over the needs of his fellow humans. Similar to the overall conditions of America at the time.
