Thank you for sharing. I agree with you. Today, we are seeing many of the same trends as seen back during the 1930's. The stock market is declining and the prices on goods are high. Inflation continues to be on the rise and unemployment rate will increase too. Hopefully, if it is not broken; we are supposed to have things in place to protect us from the economy falling apart like it did during the Great Depression. However, the federal agencies seem to be losing a lot of its workforce or closing like the Department of Education. Unless there is something put in place it may have some consequences.

I find it interesting that some are following the suit of the president and doing away with affirmative action. This was one of those policies put into place to make sure disadvantaged groups have the same access to education and employment. Also, it will be interesting to see what happens when federal funding is cut unless those programs are eliminated. Even if people or organizations want to continue with them they may not be able to because of money.
