Hello Michael, Yes the contrast of unaffordable living, poverty and debt are just as real for Americans today as they were during the Great Depression. It makes me sad that we still struggle with this and that it feels like minorities like BIPOC, immigrant, queer and disabled people etc. are still getting the short end of the stick and facing maltreatment. There has been efforts made for things to be 'better' but a lot of work still needs to be done in the inclusivity department of our country.
