Fueled by mass propaganda, anti Japanese sentiment because deeply embedded into the publics opinion. All of the racial imagery brought upon by the media in films, comics, newspapers etc. helped justify Executive Order 9066, which forcibly removed over 120,000 Japanese Americans from their homes and placed them into camps against their will. It is always informative but unfortunate to learn these things about our country's history.
