World War II had a very significant impact on life around the globe. There was so much destruction, loss of life and very significant economic changes. World War II had an estimated 60 to 80,000,000 deaths which included civilians the destruction of cities and their infrastructures and other damaged infrastructures and different parts of the world. This World War II also left millions of people injured displaced without a home and physical and psychological scars. The economic collapse left a lot of countries with widespread, poverty and hunger and shortage of resources like food fuel, and any goods that continued even years after the war had ended. People had to learn how to conserve the resources that they had and learn to adapt to the shortages of resources that were available. Children were affected the most as well, having to be evacuated from cities and the disruption in their daily routines and within their education. Even in the workforce World War II had a shortage of doctors and nurses just as well as being low on any goods. It’s hard to imagine just abruptly being uprooted from your daily routines.
