Thank you for sharing. I really like how you examined and analyzed the factors of of these diverse movements. Discrimination and marginalization was a major cause for these groups forming and fighting for change and power. They wanted their voices to be heard and equality for their subgroup to exist. They challenged these discriminatory practices and took on these issues head on. The fact that groups of similar identities joined together in solidarity to make change was a powerful and forceful statement. People of similar identities, challenges, and voices joined hands in the power movement fights. Lastly, the strategies they took were fierce and a direct action against society, government, and the norms. They were not sitting quietly waiting for change. Instead they felt like it was time to force change and go to the extreme to fight for it. These groups were truly inspirational and brave. I am positive we will see more power movements in the future. Society is forever changing and norms are being questioned. Discrimination and marginalization is still a large problem in the world. I feel people will unite again for causes like they did back then.
