Thank you for sharing. The conservative group dates back to leaders in history like Reagan. Identity politics does seem to be a large part of the discussion today and in the past. Immigration, diversity programs, and LGBTQ communities are going through radical changes right now and the United States is facing many challenges with these new executive orders and changes going on. I definitely agree too that Republicans think welfare programs foster dependency versus self-sufficiency and that is why they have choose to cut funding in several federal based programs. It will be interesting to see where these changes do take us; and also how we as a nation will respond to these changes.
