Why Pages?

 While Moodle does allow instructors to add various types of files and content to classrooms, the recommendations here rely on the ?Page? resource in Moodle. A ?Page? is an html file editable with the ATTO text editor. Advantages of adding content by linking it to a ?Page? include:

?       Multiple resources that are related can be added to a single page;

?       The instructor can add context or other content to explain the content;

?       Some content can be displayed inside the page so links to outside distractions are minimized.

On the example of a page in the image below, I added formatted text and image to a page on which I linked to an article by a publisher, a link to a side show I had created, and I also embedded a YouTube video.
