GCC faculty adopt one of two strategies for adding Zoom meetings to their classroom.

1) Puzzle Piece (Meetings for One Class Only)

When faculty are scheduling recurring meetings (for example, they are holding remote lectures), they usually add links to Zoom using the external tool. These appear with a "puzzle piece" icon in Moodle.

To see the list of meetings, click the link next to the puzzle piece.
Click the "Join" button to enter the correct Zoom meeting:

Depending on how the meeting is configured, you may be placed in a waiting room.

2) Links

Especially when adding links to office hours which will be open to students in multiple core or sections, instructors will add a link to their personal Zoom meeting. When following such a link, it is likely you will find a link in your Moodle classroom which will be the same for all students regardless of the course or section.

While this link looks link all others, it will open a Zoom page which prompts followers to open the link in the Zoom client or follow another to the web page.
