Navigate to the file on Drive & Configure Sharing

Click to select it, then click the "Share" button at the top (the icon of  the person with the "+" sign)

This can also be accomplished using the "Get shareable link" button; it is most important that the "who" and "what type of access" settings be correct.

In the "Share with people and groups" dialogue box, click the word "Change," then use the drop down menus to select "Anyone with the link" can "view."

Click to "Copy link," then click "Done" to close the dialogue box.



Navigate into Moodle and Link the Text

  • Open the page that will link to the Google file.
  • I usually recommend typing the text you want linked to the Google Document
  • Highlight the text, click the "link" button in the "ATTO text editor"

  • Paste the URL and check the "Open in a new window" box

  • Click "Save"
