To link to a Google Document:

  1. Upload and convert a Word, PowerPoint, or Excel file (or a multimedia file such as an .mp4, .mp3, or jpg)
  2. Configure the sharing setting so that "Anyone with the link" can "view"
  3. Copy the link
  4. Add the URL activity to Moodle
  5. Paste the link as the "External URL."
