Grading: Pass/ Fail

To set a grade item to be pass/ fail, follow these steps:

1) Create the assignment or forum.

2) Open the "Grade" options for the item.

3) In the "Type" drop down menu, choose "Scale"

4) In the "Scale" drop down (which appears after you choose "Scale"), choose "Pass/ Fail."

5) Finish setting up the item.

When entering grades, you will be presented with a drop down menu to select the grade.
