Working with Starter Files (For Students)
0) Make sure you are logged on to Google Workspaces with your GCC credentials.
1) Navigate to the item in your Moodle classroom. This may be a link to the file in Google Workspaces or you may see the file embedded in Moodle.
2) Under the "File" menu, click "Make a copy"
Do not follow the link to "Request access." You already have access and are going to make you own copy to edit!

3) Edit the file.
4) Change the "Share" settings so that "Everyone with the link" is a "viewer" or "commenter" based on directions provided by your instructor.
When you are ready to hand in your version of the starter file:
6) Open the file, then the share settings.
7) Make sure "Anyone with the link" is a "Viewer" or "Commenter."
8) Click to "Copy link."
9) In a new tab, navigate to the assignment in Moodle.
10) Click to "Add submission."
11) Paste the link copied from the Google share settings in the "Online text" text entry box.
If your instructor prefers a PDF file:

7) In the file menu, click "Download..." then "PDF."
8) Make sure to pay attention to where you are saving the file.
9) Navigate to the assignment in Moodle.
10) Click "Add submission."
11) In the "File submission" section, click to "Add," then use the "File picker" to find and upload the file you just downloaded.
