Recording Audio & Video in ATTO

The" ATTO text editor" includes the option to record audio or video. To avoid overwhelming out servers, we have limited the length of the recordings.

Recordings should be made using Google Chrome; they often fail when using Safari on a Macintosh or when using an iPhone or iPad.

To record:

1. Open the ATTO text editor.
2. Click rectangle to open more tools
   
   
   
   
3. Click the microphone or video camera icon. (You will be promoted to allow access to your microphone and camera.)
   
   
   
   
4.  You will see a record window pop-up.
   
   
   
   
5. Once the recording is done, you have the option to preview it. Once you are happy with it, click to attach it.
   
   
   
   
6. An audio or video player will appear in the item created by ATTO.
