Quiz: Delete Attempts

1. Open the quiz
2. Click "Results"
3. Scroll down to see the attempts
4. Click the check box(es) for the attempt(s)
5. Click "Delete selected attempts"

In Moodle 4.2, instructors are allowed to delete attempts at quizzes. This is useful in a number of situations. For example, if a student does not completely submit a quiz before the due date, or if for one reason or other you have decided to allow a student to re-attempt a quiz, you can delete the attempt without having to go in and create a user override. 

Let's take a look at how to do that. 

First, I navigate into the quiz, then click results. 

Next, scroll down to see the chart with all of the attempts at the quiz, click the check box to select the attempt you want to delete, then click "Delete selected attempts."
