Archive: Save Your Old Courses

1. Log on to your course.
2. In the "More..." menu, click "Course reuse"
3. In the "Import" menu, click "Backup"
4. On the "Backup settings" page, accept the defaults (if you want to save student work, check the appropriate boxes -- you may contact Gary Ackerman or Catherine Gees for additional details)
5. Click through the steps of the wizard
6. When the backup is done, click the "Download" link
7. Save the file to your computer.

The .mbz file can be uploaded to any Moodle installation. Use this to transfer your courses to other schools or to keep a copy of your courses for future use.
