Adding YouTube Videos with the ATTO Text Editor

Moodle is configured so that YouTube videos are automatically embedded whenever a YouTube URL is pasted directly into the ATTO text editor, forum posts (by faculty and students), online text submissions for assignments, and descriptions.

YouTube URL's are available in many places, including the "share" button on the video page, and several locations in studio.youtube.com. Any of these will result in embedded videos.

Embedding YouTube videos is preferable to linking to them as comments and advertisements, are not displayed, and recommended videos are minimized.
