Use PDF Protect to Prevent Copy/ Paste or Download of Files

Use Protect PDF to prevent students form downloading or copying and pasting text from PDF files uploaded into your Moodle classroom.

0) Make sure to have a PDF ready. This may be a document you prepared or a document from somewhere else. Have the file on your computer ready to upload.

1) In Moodle, click "Add an activity or resource"

2) In the gallery, click "PDF Protect"

3) Upload the file as you upload any other file.

4) Click "Save and display"

5) Notice the download button is missing and the text cannot be copied.
