Using Google Vids

Google Vids is a tool added to Google Workspaces that allows users to easily upload, record, closed caption, and embed video.

In the Google Apps menu, open Google Vids (you may need to look for it)

On the Vids splash page, choose "Google Slides"

Notice you can record using your webcam, upload video, use a template or import from Google Slides to create the video. There are tools for recording before the video in exported.

Once the video is done, save export it to Drive (using the command under the File menu, then share the video and copy and paste the link into Moodle.

The video will be embedded in Moodle wherever the URL is pasted, and the closed captions will function.
