Supports available when working on an incomplete

Students with incompletes have full access to the student support resources available at GCC. In particular, we encourage students with incompletes to utilize the following key academic support resources:

• Academic Advising: Your academic advisor can help you manage your time, coordinate completion of the incomplete work with your instructor, and support you in accessing other resources. You can follow the steps here to find your advisor.
• Peer Tutoring: Peer tutoring is available year-round and is free. Peer tutors can work with students on course content, exploring ways to study and execute course work, and academic skills. You can request a peer tutoring appointment here. Peer tutoring is available both in person, and online. After hours and weekend appointments are available. Peer Tutoring is on the fourth floor across from the Wellness Center.
• Math Studio: The Math Studio is a space that helps to create a community of learners outside of the formal classroom. The space is staffed by math faculty and provides a quiet space to do work, as well as get support from math experts when you need it. The Math Studio is in room N402, and also operates via Zoom. • Mission Unstuck: Mission Unstuck provides structured work time, support from Peer Tutors and the Learning Coach, and all the materials you need to finish up your incomplete work. Students with incompletes get an email with the details of the program and inviting them to sign up once grades are posted. You can also talk to your advisor to learn more about Mission Unstuck.
