An Associate's Degree isn't necessarily a "two year degree".  There are decisions to make as you plan your degree, which can have an impact on the length of time it takes. 

  • The number of credits you need to earn in order to graduate depends on the specific degree (major) you are in.  
  • The courses you will need to take for your specific degree or certificate will be listed on your Degree Audit.   
  • The time it will take to complete your degree depends on how many credits you take each semester and whether those credits can apply to your degree.  
  • Graduation is based on the credits you have earned towards specific degree requirements, not the total number of credits or number of semesters you have been here.

In order to graduate with an Associate's Degree in 2 years, you would need to be full time.  

If you study part time, it will take longer.
