  • In 2024, GCC started to replace Smartboards and projectors with Clear Touch interactive displays. Most classrooms also have speakers that fill the room with sounds for listening to podcasts or watching video.

    Clear Touch:

    • Clear Touch units are configured to be displays only. Users log on to the desktop PC and either duplicate to extend the desktop to use it.

    Smart Board:

    • The Smart Boards are also configured to be touch screens, but often require calibration.

    • A 1-page overview of the Clear Touch units we are installing in classrooms.

These tools are for the Android apps available.

    • A tour of the buttons on the remote controls for Clear Touch units.

    • If you cannot see the desktop on the display, use these steps to extend or duplicate the display. Alternatively, if you want to see a classroom computer, but not show the screen to students, you can use this option to display to the PC only.

    • If you cannot hear audio, or you hear it coming from the computer speakers but to the room speakers, use these steps to adjust the audio.
