Public space was able to help the support of the start of women's rights protesting by giving women the space they needed to be free and more independent which would lead to the beginnings of the movements being formed. With the beginning of WW2, men were beginning to go off to way which would lead to many different jobs and needs being emptied over time. This would lead to women being the primary labor force as WW2 went on and this would be the start of what would eventually lead into the movements. As without men to fill the jobs up, the women not the nation would slowly become more independent and be able to express more of there freedoms because of this.
The Executive order to remove queer people from the workforce was in a way very alienating for those who it affected. Having the sudden demand for them to have to quit working there jobs when they had been treated with relative normality before this likely lead to the uprising and eventual lead of the LGBT movement so that they could get the order taken back and be able to work again.
Once the men of war came back home and they began to put the basic structure of the workforce and life that they had left behind before they went off to war. However this ended up creating a massive problem as the women had begun to want to keep working and many expressed frustration and the realization that they would be encouraged and forced to go back to working at home and become limited in their freedoms again. This along with the fact that the queer exe4cutive order began lead to both groups begin an uproar and start to fight back against the restrictions placed upon them in an effort to be given better treatment, particularly in the workforce.
