Using, Tactiq, a participant in a Google Meet video conference can save the closed captions generated by their browser.

1) Tactiq is an extension for Google Chrome. It is available only for the full web browser. Users must:

    • Be using a Windows or Macintosh computer or laptop
    • Have Google Chrome installed

2) Launch Google Chrome, and navigate to the Chrome Web Store.

3) Search for "Tactiq"

4) Click "Tactiq for Google Meet Transcription" to see the the the blue "Add to Chrome" button.

5) During the install process, you will see several screens requiring input:

a) Click to "Add extension"

b) Click to "Sign-in with Google"

c) Make sure to sign in with your GCC account!

select the correct Google account

d) Click to "Allow" the Tactiq extension to save Google Docs to your account.

6) Once the install is complete, launch a Google Meet.

7) Closed captions will be active and the Tactiq panel will be active.

8) At the end if your Meet, click to see the Google Doc.

9) Yeah, ya gotta edit it!

10) Don't practice too much as you get only 30 saves per month.
