Adding Alt Text to Images in Moodle

 Add alt-text to images added with the ATTO text editor

Option #1: When inserting images with the toolbar, type alt text into the box in the attributes box in the Insert Image dialogue box (see figure 1). This option limits the alt-text to 125 characters, which some find is insufficient to describe some images.

Option #2: Add "alt=" to the image tag in the html editor

When adding content using the html editor in the ATTO text editor, users can include "alt=" to the  tag (see figure 2). This option allows instructors and designers to exceed the 125 character limit.
