To help students organize their calendars and plan their work more efficiently, we provide these directions for adding Moodle events to your G Suite calendars, which are part of GCC students’ G Mail accounts.

Please encourage your instructors to add due dates to courses assignments and tasks so they appear in your calendar!


  1. Log on to Moodle

  2. On your dashboard, find the “Upcoming events” block on the right.

  3. Click “Go to calendar” at the bottom on that block.

  4. On the "Calendars" page, click "Import or export calendar."

  6. In the “Export calendar” settings, choose “All events” and the custom date range.

  7. Click the “Get calendar URL” button.

  8. Click to copy the calendar URL

  9. Log on to you GCC G Mail account.

  10. Open “Calendar” in the apps menu.

  11. On the left, click the “+” next to “Other calendars.”

  12. Click “From URL" in the menu.

  13. In the “From URL” box paste the URL you copied from the Moodle Calendar.

  14. Click the “Add calendar” button

You will see the new calendar in you list of Google Calendars. Events added to the Moodle Calendar will automatically be sent to your Google Calendar, but they don’t appear immediately.
