I agree that social media can be a helpful means of spreading the word and being heard. However, there is so much information out there that it is difficult to figure out what is true or what the objective is. This can also hinder movements and become less organized because so many people are posting and sharing. Also, I agree that we are fighting for the same thing that we were before-fairness, freedom, and a better future. I think the country is divided on what that means just as they were in the 1960s or 1970s. It will be interesting to see how things work out in the end and what will work. Some are worried about equality for diverse programs, gender identities, resources for mental health, and federal agency involvement and funding. The uncertainty of our current state is very alarming. However, like before people are ready to organize to be heard in protests, rallies, and so much more. I think we will see more especially at many college or education campuses too.
