Importing from One Course to Another

Since 2019, we have enabled the import function which allows faculty to copy items from one course to another. To use the import function:

1. Open the destination course.
2. Click "Import" under the gear menu.
3. Choose the source course.
4. Click "Continue."
5. If you want to import the entire course, click "Jump to final step."
6. If you want to import only certain items, click "Next," then uncheck the items you do not want imported in the "Schema settings" page.
7. Click "Perform import."

The items are copied, so changes you make in the destination course do not change the items in the source course.

4. Turn off settings you don't need (this makes the import faster).
5. Use the check boxes to select the item(2) you want to copy.
6. Click "Perform import."
