Moodle is configured so that a Google Workspace file will be embedded and automatically display within the page when the URL is pasted into the ATTO text editor.  The video below covers these steps, as well as two ways of embedding slideshows: one to have the editing tools still available, and one that will just display the slides.

To display a Google Workspace file:

  1. Open the Docs, Slides, or Sheets file (if you have uploaded and converted Word, PowerPoint, or Excel files, make sure to open the Google versions)
  2. Set the sharing to "Everyone with the link" can "view."
  3. Copy the link.
  4. Paste the URL into any ATTO text editor item.
  5. Add any other content to the ATTO text editor to make the post or page or item complete.
  6. Click to "Save changes."
