Create a Custom Color Theme in Microsoft Office
Completion requirements
Users can create their own custom color theme in Microsoft Office. This will ensure the colors you add in Word or PowerPoint files will be ADA compliant:
- In the search bar inside any Microsoft Office application, search for "custom colors." Click it in the menu.

- In the popup window, choose colors that exceed 4.5:1. We recommend naming the theme "ADA Compliant Colors" so it is easy to identify.

- Save the changes.
- Notice the theme is now available on the colors menu. Click it to ensure it is active.
