0) Open the file in Word, Powerpoint, or other application. In the "File" menu, click "Save as...." Change the save as type option to "PDF." Click save and make sure you know where the file is saved.

1) Open your Moodle classroom.

2) Turn editing on with the toggle in the top right.

3) Navigate to the topic or week in which you want to add the file.

4) "Click add an activity or resource"

5) Click "File" in the gallery.

6) In the "Inset file" dialogue box, enter a meaningful name.

7) (optional) add a description.

8) Click the "Add" icon in the "Select files" box.

9) Use the file picker to navigate t0 the PDF on you computer. Select it then "Open" and "Upload this file." 

10) Open the "Appearance" options

11) In the "Display" menu, click "Embed"

12) Click "Save and display"

13) Notice the PDF will be embedded in the classroom so all students will see it regardless of the device they are using.
